While the carbon constraint goes to be a global vision, the global cooperation becomes a main stream to deal with climate change. Considering the industry cooperation goes to more and more frequently and tight between Taiwan and China, and both of sides face an increasing pressure of carbon emission reduction, establishing a cooperative mechanism of cross-strait environmental service industries is imperative and important. Therefore, Environmental Protection Administration established “the Platform of the Cross-strait Environmental Service Industry” on August 21th, 2012. Through the platform, we wanted to build the cooperative mechanism of cross-strait environmental service industries, and collected information such as laws, rules and Investment Barriers between China and Taiwan, and in the end, promoted practical cooperation of environmental service industries between Taiwan and China.
